Crabgrass Control
Metro Orlando FL | Kissimmee - Sanford - Leesburg
Crabgrass is an aggressive, fast-growing weed, and can be a serious concern for any lawn owner. Crabgrass grows horizontally, thickening and covering grass blades as it continues to spread. It is incredibly difficult to control this weed, and most lawn care companies do not cover crabgrass. Heron Home & Outdoor apply pre-emergents to slow the growth.
Control Florida Crabgrass as Soon as Possible
Crabgrass grows 8 times faster than St. Augustine turf. That fact alone is astounding! This means that despite the health of your lawn if you were to let crabgrass grow for even a week, your lawn could face disastrous effects.
Crabgrass seeds can also remain dormant in the soil for years. If they ever receive the right conditions and temperature, these dormant seeds will sprout and spread within days. A single crabgrass plant can produce up to 150,000 seeds!
