Spring in Florida usually brings rain, sunshine, and beautiful temperatures. This is a perfect blend for a lawn to grow healthy. Although you may be able to skip a week of watering here and there, it is important to be aware of how much rainfall is actually occurring. If the grass blades are looking withered or losing color, it is likely due to an insufficiency of water.

Spring is a great time to plant sod, just be sure to water often, but never over water. Over-irrigating your lawn can cause fungus that will leave large patches of dead grass throughout your lawn.
