How Termidor Works

Termites can’t avoid what they can’t detect.
Termidor utilizes an advanced “undetectable” liquid technology. That means that termites cannot see, smell, taste, or avoid it. Instead they contact, ingest and share Termidor, completely unaware that doing so will inevitably kill them.

Termidor “Transfer Effect”

Whenever a termite ingests or touches Termidor, it becomes a “carrier” transferring Termidor to other termites it contacts. These termites in turn can become secondary carriers,
behaving normally while they transfer Termidor to other termites they contact, spreading it like a virus throughout the colony. Termidor is formulated to give individual termites
ample time to transfer it to others in the population before they die. This unique, spiraling process is called the “Transfer Effect,” and it helps deliver devastating results to termites in
order to maximize protection of your home. Studies have shown that nothing is as effective as Termidor at eliminating 100% of termites. No other liquid and no other bait product
can match the fast acting or long term protection that Termidor provides. It is recommended that you have your home inspected for termites once a year.

Why is Termidor more effective than traditional Bait Systems?

Termite Treatment Options

Bait Stations: Bait stations are placed 8-10 feet apart around the perimeter of your home. A termite is less than ½ long. There is no guarantee that termites will come into contact with a bait station.

Termite Treatment Options

Continuous Treatment: Termidor provides a continuous barrier of protection around your home. Termites will come in contact with the solution and transfer it to other termites eliminating the entire colony.

Bait stations are plastics monitors containing stakes of wood inside that are placed every 8-10 feet around the perimeter of your home. Bait stations do not seek out termites. Instead, termites have to find a bait station for it to do any good. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that termites that are already inside or heading for your home will ever find a bait station at all. With most baiting systems, there is no active solution placed inside the bait stations at first which means there is absolutely no protection against termites. The stations are monitored periodically and when active termites are found in a bait station, bait will then be added to the stations. Termites will still be damaging the home until they have eaten enough bait and gone back to the colony to recruit other termites to come eat the bait. This can take months, even years.

In comparison, Termidor is applied to the soil around the entire perimeter of your home, providing a solid barrier of protection unlike bait stations. Termidor begins working immediately and is the only product that will control 100% of termites within 3 months or less, which is up to six times faster than bait stations. We are so confident in the effectiveness of Termidor that we offer a $1 Million repair warranty.
